Ephemeral Beauty is the artist's point of view on the beauty of the female world through his interpretation of the portrait, in this case of real people who have passed through his life or who have shared a part of it. The collection on display (2020-2023), part of a larger production. The works were created on poster paper, a support specifically chosen for its fragility, which tends to tear and inevitably wear out, a stylistic choice that echoes the footsteps of an important 20th-century artist from Catanzaro. The degradation of the support also has an affinity with the street art works that are characterized by this ephemeral life. The interpretation of the portraits, in addition to telling the essence of each character, with its imperfections and defects, investigates the fragility of the person, since we often worry about appearing different from how we are actually perceived.
